Asennus
Vcmi löytyy useimpien jakeluiden paketinhallinnasta nimellä vcmi. Lisätietoja ohjelmien asentamisesta löytyy artikkelista Ohjelmien asentaminen.
Heroes III data tiedostojen asennus
- Heroes III: Shadow of Death tai Complete versio
- epävirallinen WoG fanien luoma lisäosa: http://download.vcmi.eu/WoG/wog.zip
- VCMI data tiedostot: http://download.vcmi.eu/core.zip
Automaattinen asennus
Asentaaksesi Heroes 3 data tiedostot automaattisella skriptillä sinä tarvitset:
- Yhden tai kaksi CD:tä
- gog.com asennusohjelma
- Hakemiston minne peli on jo asennettu.
Suorita skripti käyttäen seuraavia valintoja. Tarvitset vain yhtä komentoa.
vcmibuilder --cd1 /path/to/iso/or/cd --cd2 /path/to/second/cd vcmibuilder --gog /path/to/gog.com/installer vcmibuilder --data /path/to/h3/data
